Rules on Roleplaying Animal/Human/Humanoid/Other Roleplays

To avoid any unwanted locking of threads or clutter of unnecessary spam/inappropriate content, please review the rules. These apply to every roleplay on the site, so please make sure you read these before continuing.

Rules for Images/Characters

• It is very important to protect your privacy on the web. Thus doing so, you must refrain from posting any pictures of yourself or other personal people in your life.
• Sexual content of any kind is not allowed, including nudity or photos that suggest sexual underlying tones. If you do so, you will have your thread immediately locked and/or taken down, and be at risk of losing your account.
  
• No excess gore, or anything that portrays a horrific injury. These photos will be removed if posted.
• Please refrain from using an excess amount of photos in your thread as a roleplay is solely writing based, and your thread may be closed if you choose to spam the topic with photos. 1-2 are fine, but please try to keep it minimal.
• If you post a character, please try to watch outside links, and if you do choose to give an outside link (ie. youtube), make sure it is child friendly, or the link will be removed.

Repeatedly posting images will be considered spam, and will risk your thread be closed, please keep this in mind. This means, while making a character reference sheet, please try to only use 1-2 photos of your character. Otherwise, describe them through words to avoid breaking this rule.


Rules for Roleplay Topics and Themes

You may NOT roleplay any adult topics that are not relatively 'child friendly'. This includes:

• Excessive gore, excessive fighting.
• Detailed descriptions of gore or other bodily harm.
• Any sort of reference to bodily harm purposely inflicted upon oneself.
• Any sort of detailed descriptions in the fighting if it includes tones such as abuse, or sadistic nature where a character enjoys hurting others.

This means no slave/master type roleplays, any sort of sadistic roleplay, or any sort of abuse roleplay.

Things that are fine to include:

• Minor injuries with little to no description.
• Minor fights where the characters are not brutally hurting or injuring one another.
• Referenced PREVIOUS abuse that is not in detail, not including sexual abuse, as that topic is not allowed under any circumstances.
• Arguments between characters resulting in fights so long as they are not major, gory, detailed or based around any sort of abusive relationship.

Any references to illegal drugs, drinking under the legal age (21 years of age), or smoking under the legal age (18 years of age), will be considered breaking the rules.
This includes referencing that your character is illegally smoking cigarettes, drinking under the age, or doing illegal substances (marijuana, crack, cocaine, meth, etc.).
Your character may smoke nicotine cigarettes, drink, and take LEGAL prescription pills so long as they are of age and it follows all guidelines properly. They may NOT share these substances with anyone under the age, or illegally.

Rules on Sexual Content and Romance

Many roleplays are romance based, yes, but it must still follow proper guidelines so that you are not at risk of having your thread potentially closed, or getting your account banned.
This means:

• Any sort of nudity, or reference to nudity/genitalia of any sort is NOT allowed.
• Inferring that your characters will proceed to do any sort of sexual acts, in writing or out of. (ie., "they went to the other room and shut the door, knowing they'd be needing the privacy.")
• Any forms of illegal relationships, or incest. This means no teacher/student roleplay if the two are romantically involved.
• No hands/other body parts should touch your character inappropriately at any time. Meaning no hands on breasts/butt/crotch/etc.
• In detail kissing, chewing, biting, neck kissing, moaning/groaning erotically will not be allowed.

This includes roleplays via PM's as well. Please do not think that because you are using PM'ing as a way to roleplay that you can avoid these rules, as administrators and moderators may be able to still detect content like this through PM.

Pregnancy is allowed, so long as there is no details providing how they got pregnant, or details about the birthing of the child. The character must have already had their baby, or there must be no details on the birth at all allowed.
Teen pregnancy is allowed as well, so long as it follows the guidelines provided above. This means no sexual abuse/forces sexual activities involved, or discussed, and no overly descriptive details about the pregnancy.

Self Harm Related Topics

We do understand that mental illnesses do exist as part of the real world, but we do ask that you keep them to a minimum and do not have your characters act in any sort of suicidal way, or inflict harmful/fatal injuries upon themselves. Suicide is not something that may be discussed in a roleplay (unless a characters family member has passed away from suicide or likewise, but details are NOT allowed), nor should any of your characters debate/commit suicide.
Your character may have depression, bipolar disorder, or other mental illnesses, but they must follow the guidelines provided as this is a very serious topic.
