Hello, everyone! Welcome to Wakyia, a new adoptable pet site!

Since this site is fairly new, we are trying to think of possible species we can release as Special Releases for events and basic adoption species. If you have any suggestions, please post here.

Dessert Themed Feline (ex: Cactus cat)
Beast Fox Theme
Chimera Theme (Lion head with another head species and snake tail)

Basically, I think it would be cool having species that look unique and original examples of what I mean are creatures like these.

I really love all of these ideas! Maybe for the special release do like a less common species? Idk but maybe something less common like a turtle or a snake or just something different from usual

I think adoptables based off of mythical creatures would be interesting.

We could always blend 2 or more animals together to create a new species. For example, a Mer-Dog: an ordinary dog, except instead of it's back legs it has a mermaid tail.

What would the main adoptables be? (example like CS: Canines, Felines, Horses/Ponies, Rodents) Or does are the main adoptables going to be crossbred/mythical/fantasy creatures?
Also, how will the adoptable art process be like, will we have a whole list and have them be drawn all at the same time? I only wanted to ask because based on what I have experienced with adoptable sites in the making, they propose a lot of species at once and try to get linearts of all of them done and it became very hectic and disorganized.

We aren’t sure yet

Right now we are only focusing on collecting artists and drawing up possible species suggestions. All I know is we’re trying not to copy and species CS has.

I have a couple linearts I paid someone to make. 4 of the 10 are created so far. :3 They look quite well so far. The ones created are a mixture of animals with a fantasy element.

I play this game called furvilla which has many talented artist. I think if most of the members on Wakyia began playing it and used the items and game currency to pay for artist on the site, we'll have a lot more creatures. :3 You can even trade adopts or edited Paintie bases to get line art.
